Team Automaestro from BUET Automobile Club has recently qualified as a provisional team for "Formula Student UK 2022" organized by Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE); a prestigious student automobile competition hosted annually at Silverstone Formula one racing circuit, UK in July. However, to physically participate in the event, they must build their car in real life. It requires them to purchase materials, components and get access to more sophisticated manufacturing facilities – for which they are in short of funding as many major components of the vehicle are needed to be imported. The team has already finalized their design of the FSUK 2022 vehicle. But the progress of the team has stopped due to shortage of fund. The team has continued their work for this project with their self-funding for more than a year till now, but it is impossible for the student to proceed further with their own funding. If the team cannot collect the required funds immediately, they might not be able to participate for the main competition at all – and hence depriving our nation a priceless opportunity to earn glory.

We believe that Team Automaestro has the potential to stand out in the Formula Student UK competition among many other teams from around the world, as they have repeatedly shown their excellence in the past. In 2020, they have secured 9th position overall among more than 50 registered team from around the world in the “International Go-kart Championship -Season 8” organized by Lovely Professionals University, India. Besides the have also been the Champion in both "Automotive styling" and "Innovation" segments of the same competition achieving international recognition. The team has also participated in different national and research conferences, leaving no room for doubt about their enthusiasm.
