Azadur Rahman, a 36-year-old cancer patient from Manikganj, Bangladesh, is currently receiving treatment at the Apollo Cancer Center in Chennai, India, for Ph positive "B" cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia-Relapse. This is his second battle with cancer, and he has depleted all his financial resources to pay for his treatment. Without immediate financial assistance, he would be left with no option but to return to Bangladesh without receiving the necessary treatment, a situation that sadly would be life-ending. In April 2022, Azad was diagnosed with leukemia. After a successful treatment from the same hospital, he returned to Bangladesh in March 2023, when he met his 5 months old daughter for the first time.
However, in July 2023, Azad began experiencing back pain, leading to a medical evaluation that confirmed the cancer's return. Currently, his treatment plan involves targeted medication for cancer cells and an Allogenic stem cell transplant (Bone marrow transplant) once the cancer cells have been eliminated. The cost of the transplant is 4,500,000 Indian Rupees.
While Azad's friends and family have generously contributed, there remains a shortfall of approximately 2,500,000 Indian Rupees (equivalent to about US$25,000-30,000) to cover these expenses. Your support and contributions during this critical time would be deeply appreciated and could make a significant difference in Azad's life.
