An appeal for help
Kaosar Ahmmad Rabby, a young Engineer of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, died in a horrible road accident near Savar on 5 June. The culprit bus was running criss-crossed before the driver lost control and eventually collided with the staff bus that was carrying Kaosar and others, resulting in 5 deaths. Kaosar was (we hate to use the word ‘was’ but this is the reality) a student of the Mechanical department, BUET of HSC 2010 batch. Hailing from a remote village of Gaibandha district, Kaosar fought poverty throughout his life; and being a bright student, got into BUET, secured a prestigious job, and thereby stabilized the family. Kaosar, a responsible son, a father of an 18-month-old son, was leading a happy life and planning for higher studies abroad, and then this unfortunate event happened. To make the things more heartbreaking, Nila, the wife of Kaosar, is expected to have their second baby within two weeks. Kaosar could not have the opportunity to see the face of his second child. Under the circumstances, we, the friends of Kaosar, request you to come forward and lend your helping hand for the family. They are now mentally broken and economically in deep concern. We want to raise a handsome amount of money and donate to the family so that the future of the two children remain as bright as Kaosar dreamt of. The culprit bus killed Kaosar but should not kill his dreams. Please come forward to keep his dreams for the family alive.
