A fundraising appeal for Mamun’s family:

With heavy hearts, we announce that our friend architect from BUET batch88, Mukhlesur Rahman Mamun (HSC: Batch 1988, from Dhaka College) has passed away on 25 January 2019 suddenly suffering from a fatal brain stroke. He left behind his wife and two daughters (11 & 3 years respectively). Mamun used to run his architect firm while his wife is a homemaker. Losing only income generating source of the family has created a devastating situation for his wife who now needs to take care of two minor daughters. We, his friends from university & college, has started a fundraising drive for the family. We sincerely appeal all to donate generously so that we can give them a sustainable way for future days.

The target of the fund to be raised is 100,000 USD. The fund shall be handed over to the wife of Mamun, Mrs. Mosammat Fatema Begum. The collected money shall be deposited in the bank in the name of Fatema Begum so that the family can preserve the principal amount as fixed deposit and use the profit earned for their daily livings. The BUET Batch 88 welfare foundation shall monitor the fundraising, take responsibility to handover and shall monitor over time about the wellness of Mamun’s family.
